Ms. Zimmerman oversees Fidelity Life’s strategy and marketing areas with accountability for branding, communications, customer acquisition, marketing alliances, data management and predictive analytics. In her role, Ms. Zimmerman brings a consumer-focused approach to addressing everyday American’s life insurance needs.
Ms. Zimmerman has more than 25 years of experience in financial services marketing, strategy and business development, delivering organic growth and transformational change for several Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Fidelity Life, Ms. Zimmerman was Chief Marketing Officer for The Guardian Life Insurance Company of American’s Group and Worksite Business, where she also led enterprise brand strategy.
Previously, Ms. Zimmerman served as Managing Director, Head of Marketing and Product at Legg Mason Global Asset Management where she successfully repositioned the retail and institutional businesses. During her 13-year career with Allstate Insurance Company, Ms. Zimmerman held progressively senior positions including Chief Strategy Officer for the firm’s financial services division. Under her leadership, Allstate established its proprietary financial services business and entered the voluntary benefits market. Ms. Zimmerman began her career at American Express and Leo Burnett.
Ms. Zimmerman is a graduate of Dartmouth College and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
